There has been too much going on the last 3 weeks to get writing. I have felt a strong urge to sit down, pen to paper, and hash some things out over hours and ours and lots of tea and possibly a little wine. That time hasn't been carved yet, however the days keep passing and continue to bring a twisty state of change, overwhelming sense of unknown, and hopefully good health.
The clinic that I have been working with for the last 5 years has been "let go" from the bigger organization, and is forced to close within the next month. The physicians I work with have less than a month to figure out where to go, and what to do for their patients. My heart is breaking for our community and the gift that the unique clinic has been for so many families.
I am planning to continue to my work connected with the physicians. They continue to place a very high value on nutrition and community... Two of my JAMS! In the meantime, I will be accepting new clients, and opening up availability to continue to manage patient care.
In this time of change, in this season of unknowns, we can only hope for a beautiful fresh start. My private practice has primarily been phone consultation, so that will continue until I have a clearer plan ahead.
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance!
